Third-generation racer Michael “the Missile” Hill comes from a family of racers that includes everyone from his grandfather to his father to his mother, sister, and cousins.
Despite this fact, he started racing at the relatively “late” age of nine, but quickly made up for lost time and enjoyed a strong amateur career.
Hill stepped up to the Progressive AFT ranks in 2017 in Parts Unlimited AFT Singles action. He ran limited campaigns over the next three years and added Mission Production Twins duty to his slate in 2021.
Hill stepped up his game considerably in 2022, putting in his first full season while securing his best results yet. Focused solely on the Mission Production Twins category, he logged four top tens, including a fifth-place finish at the Black Hills HM en route to a 15th-place ranking in the final championship rankings.
Outside of racing, Hill spends much of his free time on two wheels, riding motocross and mountain bikes.
